Description / विवरण | |
Description / विवरण | It is a rectangular stone block with sculptural motifs curved on two of its surfaces. A mid-relief male human figurine is carved in the narrower side of the block. The sculpture is standing in a relaxed abhanga posture on a lotus pedestal and seems to be holding a dotara (double-stringed musical instrument). The sculpture is adorned with bangles in both his wrists, necklaces (kanthabhusana) in his upper chest, a pair of circular earrings (kundala) in his ears, and an undecorated girdle (kayabandh) around his waist. The other surface is badly mutilated and only a bow-like carving and some faded alphabetic inscriptions are visible there. |
