Description / विवरण | This is a broken torso of an unknown figurine. The head portion is completely missing. There is a remains of beard on the right side of the figurine. Kundala is visible on the right ear of the sculpture. On the right chest, there is a prominent nipple carved out. The right arm of the figure is in jnana mudra where a circular rosary-type feature is hanging. A prominent navel can be seen on the abdomen of the figure. The left arm is mutilated and an uttariya is hanging behind the left arm. Kaupinam, a lower garment is carved out on the waist of the figure. Two legs are heavily broken. From the observation, it can be said that the figure might have a yogi. |
