Description / विवरण | It is a broken sculpture of a Vidyadhara carved on a granite boulder. The figurine is seen to be adorned with an undecorated headgear and abhushans such as intricate beaded hara entirely covering the bust, spherical kundalas. On the right hand, it is holding a half blooming lotus and found to be adorned with kara and a delicate armlet. In case of facial expression, the face of the Vidyadhara is square-shaped with prominent jawline. Its eyes are carved as if looking down with crease indicating eyelids. The nose is heavily damaged, The philtrum and cleft chin are clearly identifiable carrying a meditative smile.However, the eyebrows are dramatically carved and seen to be marked with a tilak on forehead. |
