| Description / विवरण | At the base of the door jamb is a River Goddess, a Vaisnava dvarapala who holds a cakra in the upper left hand and a female cauri-bearer. The Naga above the head of the goddess is badly damaged. The ornamental bands of the door jamb consist of a patrasakha nearest the entrance, and a rupasakha articulated as a vertical row of three niches flanked by open half niches containing figures of musicians and dancers. A babulamala molding borders the rupasakha. The face of the dvarapala bears chisel marks and was apparently unfinished. |
