| Description / विवरण | Goddess Maheshwari, Seated on a pedestal in ardhaparyanka pose. The body above the waist is chopped off. The background too is missing. She wears a Mundamala of three skulls. Two lady attendants, one on each side with chauri and two devotees, one on each side. The right one is a bearded male figure in Anjali mudra. The left one is a lady whose hands are broken; Lady attendants are defaced. below her seat her Vahana Nandi is depicted facing right. The goddess Maheshwari is also shown wearing various ornamentation i.e. Kati Mekhla, Adhovastra and Anklet.The devotee and attendants are also shown wearing bajuband, necklace, bracelet and adhovastra. A Nagari inscription on the lower part of the sculpture is engraved which reads श्री माहेश्वरी . |
