| Description / विवरण | A goddess seated in ardhaparyanka on a kamala platform. The body of the goddess above the belly is chopped off. only right hands wrist is seen on the leg of the goddess. The sculpture is well ornamented in which we can see the katibandh, transparent lower garment and a broken large garland and anklet. A parrot is shown on the pedestal whose face is chopped off. Two attendants are seen one towards right damaged and two towards left head chopped one male and one female with their hands in Anjali pose. Two female attendants are seen on the either side of the sculpture whose head is chopped. two headless devotees are also depicted on the pedestal at the feet. The name of the deity is recorded on pedestal in Nagari script of 10th century CE. |
