| Description / विवरण | Goddess shri Prantakari in a terrific pose, seated on a serpent coil in ardhparyanka style. The right leg is chopped off from the thigh. Four hands all are broken, the mouth is open, the tongue and the eyes are bulging out and she wears mundmala and naga hood shadow is given to goddess. two attaindents are depicted on left side of the sculpture in which one attendant s face is chopped off and second attaindant s left body is lost. Goddess Chamunda is depicted on the centre of the pedestal her left arm and head is broken, on the right side an unidentified god is depicted whose head and right part of body is lost. The right foot of the goddess is shown resting over a lotus. on the left side of the sculpture, a headless decorated Nandi is depicted, his legs are broken. on the head she is wearing a skull crown, earrings, necklace, armlet, Katibandha and anklet. She wears a transparent saree as lower garment. Her eyebrows are shown ferociously. The right side of the stone part is broken. Her breasts are later mended. An Nagari inscription is engraved on the lower pedestal of the sculpture. |
