| Description / विवरण | An unidentified goddess of life-size, four-armed seated in ardhparyanka style on the shoulder of garuda, who is in the human form. All four arms and face chopped off. She wears a kirita mukuta, earrings, necklace, a long garland, armlet, belt and anklet. She wears a transparent saree as lower garment; breasts are shown in prominent. The garuda supports the right foot in the right palm and left knee with the left palm. Four emaciated attendants two on either side in successive vertical order above are the vyala followed by makarmukha upon whom six flying Gandharva are shown paying their tribute, three on either side. A hollow behind the head is broken partly. On the pedestal श्री सिंह सिंहा is engraved in Nagari script. The sculpture belongs to 10th,11th century C.E. |
