| Description / विवरण | This Tara sculpture is very well ornamented with necklace, Earrings, Bajuband, Amulet, Bangle, Kardhani and anklet etc. The Goddess is shown wearing lower body cloth which is very well decorated and floral patterns are visible on it. She is shown seating in Ardhaparyanka posture on lotus Pedestal holding a lily flower in left hand while the right hand is in Varada mudra. On the Parikara part, two Gandharvas are depicted. On the both flanks 4 other Tara have been depicted on either side holding lily flowers with different vahanas. On the top of the sculpture a small chaitya gavaksha is depicted on which a headless Buddha is shown in Bhumisparsha Mudra. Below the pedestal, Jambhala, a Sword holding god, elephants, lions, worshipers etc. are depicted. A small inscription in Nagari is seen on the base of the Sculpture. |
