| Description / विवरण | Vishnu is seated on a pedestal in sukhasana with four arms. The upper right arm is broken and the upper left arm holds a sankha or conch. The lower right hand is in Abhaya mudra and the lower left hand is broken and seems like holding a Gada. He is adorned with Kirita makuta, yajnopavita, ornaments and a lower garment. The forehead of the figurine is marked with urdva pundra and its eyes are portrayed open where it is incised with lines. Eyebrows and eyeballs are also incised. The nose is sharp and prominently shaped. The lips of the figurine are deep-cut and neatly projected. |
