| Description / विवरण | The front face of the architrave is divided into two registers, the top one projecting fin-ward and containing images of flying Vidyadharas, some of them accompanied by consorts, playing on various musical instruments including the drum and the flute. The lower register contains a processional scene consisting of soldiers and elephants on the march and one erotic couple. The underside of the architrave is decorated with a jawless grasa in the center emiting lotus scrolls to the sides. To the left the motif is deeply cut, but to the right it is more florid and in shallower relief though it is obviously finished. |
