Description / विवरण
The relief depicts Uma-Maheswar in stylized pose. Four-armed Siva seated in lalitasana. He holds a trident in his back right hands and flower in the right hands. Both of his left hands pass behind Parvati s back, the upper left holding a serpent, while the other one on the left shoulder of Parvati. Two-armed Parvati, seated on the left leg of Siva, holds a mirror in her left hand and her right hand passing behind Siva s back is kept on the waist of the god in the act of embracing him. The divine couple is dressed with ornaments appropriate to their person, in addition Parvati wears a dupattā with its fluttering left end falling from the left arm of the Goddess.
