| Description / विवरण | Standing image of two arm Surya holding full bloom stalked lotus flower. Deity adorned with Kirit mukut, round shape jeweled ear rings, flat & thick and a long necklace, thick three layered yagopaveet and jeweled waist band. Deity wearing long gumboot and his bust covered with armor. Brahma and Shiva depicted either side above the shoulder. His consort depicted either side near the shoulder and arching and pointing to the darkness. Dand, Pingal and sharduls stands near the feet and wearing the boots same as the Deity Surya. One male and female devotee sits near the feet in anjalimudra with folded hands in the prayer of deity Surya. A decorated halo is made behind the head of deity. |
