| Description / विवरण | An image of Andhkasur vadh or the form of Shiv slaying demon Andhak is shown standing in prtyalida posture, in nude with garland of bones and skulls hang down to the knees. Sixteen handed god exhibits in terrible form after slaying elephant demon. He holds in his hands various arms such as dagger, club, arrow, bell, skull, sword, shield. Serpent etc. Two upper hands hold elephant skin with elephant head carved to left over his head. His one left hand is carved on chest, remaing hands are broken. He is adorned with knotted hair style, necklace and gridle. Parvati is seated below looking above to shiv. Ganesh, Nandi and Skand are shown below. |
