| Description / विवरण | Buddhist Padmapani Avalokitesvara seated on a double petalled lotus in Lalitasana. Right hand is broken left hand exists up to elbow. A full blown lotus is noticed above the left shoulder. Tribhanga pose. Hair is Jatamukuta, having an ornate tiara, necklace, sacred thread, girddle. Left leg is broken from thaigh. Back slab cut away as a double arch torana. Two opposite looking lions stand flanking the image resting on a pilaster in both sides of torana. Above th pillar spring of a torana with a make a face on both sides. Both side of the arch have 4 dhyani Buddha is depicted in a various poses. All buddha figures topped by stupa design. Animals like , bear, elephant, monkey, dear are depicted in side torana.Two Bidyadharas holding garland hovering on sky. A skeleton body ascetic is found seating near torana on left side. Another dhyanibhddha is depicted on his Jatamukuta below lotus devotees symbol are depicted on both sides of the lotus salk. |
