| Description / विवरण | Siva as Pradoshamurti seated with his counterpart. He is seated in lalitasana posture holding trident and akshamala in his right and left upper arms respectively and the front right hand is kept in abhaya-mudra rested on the right thigh and the front left hand placed over the shoulder of Devi in embrace. He wears a high ornamental kiritamakuta decorated with crescent moon, kanthaharas,armlets, anklets, keyuras, kundalas and ardhoruka tied with wasit-band. He has oval face, long nose, half closed eyes, thick lower lip, fleshy cheeks and pointed chin. Devi is shown seated by the side of Deva keeping her right hand on the waist of Deva in embrace. She holds a lotus in her left hand. Her hair is done into a back knot. She wears kundalas, necklace, anklets and armlets. His Vahana Nandi is shown on the pithavery artistrically. |
