| Description / विवरण | Kali or Choudeswari local name seated in lalitasana posture. She held trident and damaru in her rear right and left hands respectively and khadga in her right hand and kapala in her left forehands. She has a makuta with a serpent device in the middle, kundalas, haras and somewhat drooping breasts. On the pitha there is a depiction of head of demon or preta. Below the pitha i.e. on the pedestal is an animal which looks like a jackal. Devi has square face, short snubbed nose, closed lips and fleshy cheeks. |
