| Description / विवरण | Surya standing on a padmapitha in samabhanga posture holding lotuses in both the hands. Lotus in the left hand broken . He wears high headgear, makarakundalas, haras, yajnopavita, kundalas, ardhoruka tied with mekhala and two horizontal pattas connected by vertical pattas hanging over the thighs and a hanging tassel between the legs. Halo is represented with lotus petals behind the head seen prominently. There are two chauri bearers above the pitha. Seven horses are seen on either side on the pedestal. |
