| Description / विवरण | Surya standing on a padmapitha in Samabhanga posture holding the stalks of lotuses in both the hands. The lotus in the right hand is broken. A rayed halo is seen prominently. He has long nose, pointed chin, kiritamakuta, haras, yajnopavita, katibandha, kankanas, mekhala with a lotus pendent and dangling tassels. There are figures of usha and pratyusha on either side at the bottom of the sculpture. They wear haras, kankanas, mekhala, long drapery with folds and hanging tassels from the mekhala. |
