Description / विवरण
The panel shows three registers. The upper one portrays a person seated in lalitasana posture kept his left hand on his left thigh and held a battle axe in his raised right hand chandesawara and flanked by two lady attendants holding flywhisks. In the second panel is a hero with protruded eyes and long head gear. He wears makarakundalashis hair tied into side knot and hanging above his shoulders, a beaded hara and ardhoruka with a tassel, keyuras,wristlets and a series of anklets. A caparisoned elephant with riders probably attacking the hero. The hero holds a spear with his two hands and piercing the temple portion of the elephant. There is a rider, and two persons in a couch over the elephant. One person holds a bow as if he is releasing an arrow. Below the animal there is a label inscription in Telugu - Kannada characters. In the lower panel, there is a lady holding a long laddle like object in her right hand and a bowl in her left hand probably she is performing abhisheka to the Sivalinga. She wears, hara, kundala hair done into long hanging knot and drapery around her waist. The entire scene is portrayed in a niche.
