| Description / विवरण | A square panel depicting Kaliya mardana scene. The panel shows Balakrishna dancing on the serpent Kali and crushing it with the right leg raised and kept on the head of the serpent, while the left leg is on the back of the serpent. The right hand holds a flute while the left one holds the tail of the serpent. The head is adorned with a cap like kirita with a band at the bottom and slightly squarish on the top. On either side at the foot are half human and half serpent, devotees in anjali-mudra worshipping Krishna, probably wives of Kaliya praying for pardon. |
