| Description / विवरण | Saptamatrika panel showing from left to right. The first one is Brahmi with 4 heads holding akshmala and pusthaka in the two hands. Head is a adorned with kiritamakuta. Seated in ardha paryankasana i.e. right leg hanging down, while the left is bent and turned inwards. There are necklaces and haras besides kucha-banda. Drapery is ardhoruka with thin folds. Below is the vehicle Hamsa to the right. The second one is Maheswari holding trident and damaru. Below is the vehicle bull. The third one is Kaumari with 6 heads. The two front hands hold sword and noose. Below is the vehicle Peacock. The fourth one is Vaishnavi. The two rear hands hold Sankha, the front right hand holds a gada where as the front left hand is in Varada-mudra. Below is the vehicle Garuda. The fifth one is Chammundi seated on its vehicle corpse. The two front hands are in abhaya and varada-mudras. The two rear hands hold a staff and trident. The sixth one is Indrani seated on the elephant. The seventh one is Varahi, the details are not clear. |
