Description / विवरण | Chaturbhuja Siva as Pradoshamurti. Parvati is seated in lalitasana posture by his side on a common pedestal. He placed his left hand on back side of Devi at the waist in embrace and his right hand placed in abhya-mudra. The upper right hand holds trisula, while the left hand holds a serpent. Devi also placed her right hand on back side of Deva in embrace. With her left hand she holds a lotus. He wears high headgear mutilated , kundalas, three stringed Kanthahara, yajnopavita, chest-band, ardhoruka with hanging tassels and kankanas. Devi is well decked in ornamentation. Her hair neatly tied into a round bun. Devi s face, breast, left leg and jatamakuta of Deva, abhayahasta are mutilated. Nandi seated facing left is seen on the pedestal. |
