| Description / विवरण | Standing image of Virabhadra with the head adorned with karandamakuta and hair falling on shoulders on either side. It is four handed. The two rear hands hold pasa and ankusa where as in the two front hands are sword and shield. The right hand is raised upwards while the left rests on shield, below to the right of the image in the bottom is the small figure of daksha with goat head with folded hands in anjali-mudra. There are tight necklaces, udarabandha, wristlets, armlets and anklets. The garland like hara has a round pendent in the centre. The dress is long lower garment falls below the ankle level with folds and tied by a mekhala around the loins with a central tassel. There is prabhavali all around and a pitha below which is carved with lotus design in the centre. |
