| Description / विवरण | Siva seated in paryankasana posture with the right leg bent and Parvati seated on his left lap. His head is adorned with jatamakuta. Upper right hand holds the Damaru while the lower right hand is in abhayaposture. Upper left arm holds an object not clear and the lower left hand runs behind the back of the Devi in embracing posture. Ears are decorated with makara and patra kundalas. There is a two stranded thick necklace below the neck griva . Around the chest is a waist-band or Channavira. He is decorated with wristlets and anklets. Devi is decorated with flowing hara kanthabharana and a single stranded kantabharana below the neck. |
