| Description / विवरण | Vishnu as Anantasayana reclining on the serpent Adisesha. Head is adorned with kiritamakuta in four diminishing tiers. The head is supported by the right hand over which are the serpent hoods spread over. The left rear hand holds sankha while right front hand is in chinmudra. The left front hand hangs freely resting on the raised knee. The right leg is bent and runs towards left with foot resting on the lap of the consort Lakshmi seated. By her side is Garuda with wings standing in anjalimudra. Below are the coils of the serpent serving probably as bed talpa . At the extreme left end is seated devotee with folded hands. The ornamentation comprises necklaces and garlands which fall below the chest level. The drapery contains a short lower garment tied with katisutra and festoon like folds and central tassel turned rightwards. There is also a small figure of Brahma with four heads emerging from the naval. |
