| Description / विवरण | Standing image of dwarapala. Head is adorned with kiritamakuta. The ears have makara and patra kundalas. The two rear hands hold chakra and sankha. The two front hands, the right hand in abhaya -mudra while the left is in varada-mudra resting on the mace below. There is long garland falling just above the knee level probably vanamala. He is richly decorated with ornaments viz, kanthamala, Channa vira, keyuras, armlets, wristlets, katisutra and anklets. The drapery is ardhoruka with tassels and folds which run below the knee level. Over the head is the makara torana motif. The whole image looks short and stout in proportions. |
