| Description / विवरण | A four-handed Goddess sitting with one leg bent and the other held straight down without any bend in an inconvenient sitting posture as there is no pedestal down below to support her except for an uncomposed floral growth. To the right of this is a diminutive two handed asura, crouching in the position of attack and defence and holding perhaps a dagger and a shield and hitting at the Goddess without any purpose for he is so tiny. The image carved in folk style seems to be a product of misunderstood inconography. |
