Siva sits in lalitasana embraching Uma who is seated on his left thigh. Siva wears a high Jatamukuta in the likeness of a phallic or lingam, tied with ribbons. Siva is four-armed. The upper two arms hold a trident and a cobra. Siva takes his left natural arm around Parvati and touches her breasts. The damaged right natural hand appears to be in chin mudra or in the gesture of silent instrucitons. Uma is two handed. Her left hand rests on the cushion placed on his knee, her right hand is thrown around Siva. She wears intricately designed disc and fan shaped hairdo.The back slab is pancaratha in design and is perforated and shows other minor divinities of Shiva family.
