| Description / विवरण | This is a whole unit of a small iron padlock used for securing doors of small secular buildings within the Bidar fort.It is cylindrical shaped.The locks exhibit two circular reinforcements around the mantle.The topmost perforated reinforcing ring is connected to the perforated arm of the mantle at the bottom by a vertical shackle which passes through three perforated nails.Two small nails and a clamp are clinging to the central nail. The perforation at the top appeares to be used for inserting the key either to open or close the padlock. These locks are rusted. |
