| Description / विवरण | The Jain Tirthankara is seen standing in Kayotsarga mudra.His body is erect and appear to be motionless with half close eyes which show a beautiful meditative expression. His curly hair has a Usnisa over his head. Flying gandharva and elephant figures are depicted on either side of Chhatra. Above his head Chhatra is shown. Six standing jina figures are depicted on either side of deity. His legs are broken.Srivatsa symbol is visible on the chest.The image pedestal has no inscription, but on iconographic ground it can be ascribed to 12th century AD. Sculpture is identified as Jain Tirthankara on the basis of art style. |
