| Description / विवरण | It is a terracotta panel with decorative motifs on both the surfaces. One side of the panel depicts a narrative which looks like a royal parade led by a running animal whose head and two front legs are gone. Its tail resembles to that of a tiger. After that, there is a fully clothed human figure riding on an elephant followed by a flying dragon-like creature. The human is seen holding a spear-like weapon and wearing an elongated turban. The entire panel is filled with various vegetal and faunal patterns and three cinquefoil arches.The narrative is in motion. The other surface of the panel depicts three trees, the flowers and leaves of which do not resemble to one another. Above the pointed cinquefoil arches, there are depictions of flying birds. It was originally made of coarse-grained red clay. Signs of weathering are prominent from the flaking, scratches and chipped off edges. The panel has a granular texture. |
