| Description / विवरण | This is a tiny fragment of a terracotta plaque depicting a male attendant figure holding a decorated mirror. This attendant figure is obviously accompanying a main figure or divinity whose hands are seen resting on the bejewelled mirror. Interestingly, similar attendant figures carrying mirrors that have been recovered from Chandraketugarh are generally women. The present is a male figure adorned with earrings and necklace both with floral motif. The present plaque is greatly damaged but it was originally delineated in high relief. |
