| Description / विवरण | A fragment of a plaque portraying a bejewelled female figure holding a decorated mirror, which she offers to the main figure beside her. The principal figure is lost, except for the right palm, which is placed over the mirror being offered to her. That the principal figure is a divinity is evident from a terracotta mould of a female divinity with the ten auspicious hairpins accompanied by an attendant with a bird-shaped headdress and carrying a mirror in her hand Bautze, 1995, Pl.IIIa . This plaque in high relief delineates in minute details lines on the fingers of the principal figure, the diaphanous clothes, the jewellery and the decorative border decoration of the plaque. |
