| Description / विवरण | |
| Description / विवरण | The plaque in low relief depicts a male musician playing harp or a vina and a female dancer accompanying him. Thematically this plaque corresponds to similar plaques from Tamluk and Eastern India now in the collection of Samuel Eilenberg, Poster, 1986, p.15 . The male musician s asymmetrical headgear is typical of Chandraketugarh. The flattened treatment of the human body in the plaque and the awkwardly projecting limbs are visually conspicuous. It is more archaic with the female dancer s arms projecting awkwardly in sharp angles from the body. |
