| Description / विवरण | This is a rattle conceived as an elephant accompanied by a rider with an ankusa. Attempts have been made to identify such figures portraying elephant with rider as Indra. The dating in the present context has been achieved by taking into account similar wheeled figures obtained from excavation from Chandraketugarh where the date ranges between 2nd and 1st century B.C. and 1st and 3rd century A.D. |
