| Description / विवरण | The wheeled figure depicts an elephant with wings and decked with an ornamental band on its forehead. Similar figurines have tentitively been identified as Indra. The dating in the present case has been achieved by taking into account two terracotta figurines depicting a man on an elephant found from the layers pertaining to 2nd and 1st century B.C., and between 1st and 3rd century A.D. |
