History / इतिहास
Brief History / संक्षिप्त इतिहास
Not much is known about the tomb, but the place and the surrounding building used to be a part of the Sarai Shahji Village which is known for its Mahal. As the name suggests, it was meant for the faraway travelers who found shelter here, much like Badli ki Sarai or Sarai Rohilla on the other side of the city. Lesser known, short-lived and less celebrated, this one is among Delhi s lost gems. Sarai Shahji, the obscurest of the obscure in this area of Jahanpanah, the fourth city of Delhi and has always been an enigma.
