Part of urban fabric. It lies in area between the river Yamuna and Delhi ridge. Delhi Ridge is a northern extension of ancient Aravalli Range. The ridge consists of Quartzite rocks and extends from South-East at Tuglaqabad, branching out in places and tapering off in the north near Wazirabad of the west bank of the river Yamuna.

No significant information is available on the history of the mosque besides the mosque is in close proximity to the tomb of Shaikh Yusuf Qattal, who was a disciple of Qazi Jalaluddin of Lahore adding to the richness of that complex and its surrounding. The mosque building supposedly the one of the oldest structure of this proximity and of the same time as the tomb of Shaikh Yusuf Qattal.

इमारत/संरचना/स्थल का विवरण
The rubble-built mosque construed on a rectangular plan. The eastern facade has small niches in between the openings. The mosque would have been three bays wide and single bay deep. The walls have mostly collapsed and so has the roof. Only the eastern side walls now remain. Initially, the outer west wall of the mosque is relieved by a row of niches with three deep mihrab recesses and dominated emphasized central mihrab.
