Brief History / संक्षिप्त इतिहास | This was the first college in South Asia to offer courses in Home Science. It was constructed in 1932 and started with 11 students. The one of the prominent patrons was Lady Dorothy Irwing. The building was designed by Walter Sykes George. |

The heritage building is one of the famous and prestigious educational institution established in Delhi. It is built on a rectangular plan. It is a single storey building. The main entrance is through a grand semi-circular arched gateway. The corridor has multiple semi-circular arched openings. Over the central porch there is a rectangular tower. The unpretentious building is built up by bricks. The corridor has vaulted ceilings. The impressive building of the college is a significant colonial structure. |
