| Description / विवरण | The 16th Jain Tirthankara Shantinatha is seated in padmasana mudra on a Pitha. His body appear to be motionless with half close eyes which show a beautiful meditative expression.The right hand place over the left hand with the palm upward on his lap.His curly hair has a Usnisa over his head. Srivatsa symbol is visible on the chest.The image pedestal has an inscription of two line on the back side of the Pitha, it mention the name of donor as Moolsangh. His Lanchhan emblem Deer is carved at the Pitha. |
