| Description / विवरण | Tara is seated on the oblong moulded double petalled lotus pedestal. Her right hand resting on the knee displays the Varada mudra while her left hand holding the lotus stalk resting on the pedestal. She is crowned with a jatamukuta and wearing ear-rings, necklace, girdle, anklets, arm-lets, bangles, and an uttariya worn in an sacred thread design. Behind the image, there is an horse-shoe shaped halo with leaf designed margin. At the centre of the halo , there is an ornate triangular projection. |
